Medical marijuana to assist in cancer treatment

“Recently, my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer.  She is blessed to have the finest medical care at the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center in Santa Barbara.  We are hoping her chemotherapy will help to extend both the longevity and quality of her life. That said, there are moments with this disease and the associated treatments that my sister is in pain, experiences anxiety, has a loss of appetite, and has difficulty sleeping.  Several of her advisers were suggested that she look into the benefits of medical marijuana, and specifically, pointed her in Liz Rogan’s direction for a consultation.

We initially met Liz after she spoke at a KopSun presentation.  Our first impressions were that Liz is personable, knowledgeable, and willing to help, so we scheduled an in home consultation with her.  Liz came to my sister’s house and asked questions to understand her needs. Based on this consultation, she prepared a list of recommendations and then emailed us significant supporting literature.  About a week later, she met with us at one of the local dispensaries and helped my sister choose the tinctures she was going to start with.

Since this time, Liz has followed up with us, bringing some CBD balm to the house for us and continues to make herself available when we have questions.
